Azul rises as you step into the cell, hugging you tightly before whispering,

"Did they hurt you...?"

"No actually... At least not yet I suppose." You reply.

Breaking her embrace she looks into your eyes and asks, "What did the captain say?"

"He knows who I am, so we're off to their regional headquarters to face their judgement." You reply as you sit and take your bowl of gruel.

"Well what are you going to do?" Azul asks quietly as she sits beside you.

"Nothing for now. I think I can convince the Company to help us." You reply with a smile.

"Oh? How do you plan to do that?" Azul asks with a hint of curiosity.

"They value nothing but profit, perhaps I can use that to my advantage."

"I hope you know what you're doing." She replies nervously.

It only takes a day to arrive at port and the marines quickly bring you topside with the other prisoners.

"Separate them if you please..." Captain Turid orders, his marines pulling the common prisoners aside as several guards in chainmail board the ship and lead across the gangplank.

"For your sake I would not anger the board.... they will not hesitate to stretch your neck prince." Captain Turid warns as he follows you into port.

Your escorts take you past the market stalls and lead you to the courthouse, an imposing building with a set of scales mounted to the roof. Several raiders and pirates languishing in suspended cages in various stages of starvation. Signs over them describing their misdeeds. Captain Turid motions to the guard to open the heavy front door before leading your party inside. The guards heavy boots click against the marble floors as they lead you into the first courtroom.
