A Gimmick Change.

"I think we need to change up your image" you say, which is pretty much the first thing that pops into your mind.

Bayley tilts her head slightly to the side and smiles sweetly at you, it's obvious she thinks you've gone a little bit crazy.

"But" She begins as if talking to a child "My image is what made me who I am in the WWE today. The bright colored ring gear, the inflatable waving men, the hugs., it's who I am now. Fans worldwide would be crushed if I changed all that"

You sigh and press your thumb and forefinger to the bridge of your nose before replying.

"Yes, I understand all that but in the new show that just isn't going to fly. I have it from on high that this program is going to be adult only, a much more hardcore product than the usual fare and I'm worried that you'll get lost in the shuffle if you don't adapt."

Still grinning at you she looks less than convinced.

"Look Bayley, I'll be honest with you. I never liked your character. It seemed too cute and boring as far as I was concerned and it wasn't until I saw you on The Edge And Christian Show, taking a kendo stick to Tommy Dreamer, that I realized that you really had potential. And it's that potential I want to bring out"

"I understand that" She says "But couldn't I just toughen up my character and still give that light edge that the show sounds like it will need?"

Now it's your turn to sound unsure.

"I don't know Bayley. This whole 'I'm a hugger" schtick, it's a little corn ball"

Her smile widens and her eyes flash.

"Yes but that's not who I am in real life" she giggles.

"Then who's the real Bayley?" you ask.
