What Now? Try One Out? Or Keep Reading?
Tell Hermione, But Do It Carefully
Harry decided to tell Hermione but he knew her well enough to know that she would kill him for having a forbidden book... A book with all sorts of incredible spells in it... 'Perfect,' He thought to himself slyly.
Harry quickly pulled out a Quick Quotes quill and instructed it to copy the chapter in question. He briefly took note of the warning at the beginning of the chapter, but after a moment's thought he decided to keep it in. While it did warn the reader, it also gave the reader several good reasons as to why they would want to learn the spells inside.
He made his way to the Owlery and scrawled a quick note onto a piece of paper that he attached to Hedwig's leg and sent off with her.
"H.G., meet me at Moony's place. I have a book for you. H.P."
An hour later Harry was sitting in the shack with the copy he made for himself, looking over the second group of spells.
The first was a charm to keep flesh from necrotizing. According to the book, this in conjunction with the first spell would make any man into a sexual dynamo, one that could please all but the most discerning and experienced of partners. It did, however, give a very strongly worded warning that the first spell, if used on male genitalia by itself, would cause an erection that if not sated several times would result in necrotization. This had Harry shivering in disgust, thankful that he had read this far before trying out that particular spell.
The second spell allowed one to push their desires onto a victim. This, with the earlier meditation spell, allowed for a subtle form of mind control, one that was undetectable and would not set off any alarms to the victim or outsiders, because of the natural way that it took effect.
The third spell was a way to use the shape shifting spell to dip into something called "The Well of Eternity". It would replace parts of your body with versions of you from other realities. The book went on to say that, if done correctly, the spell could be used to spread out an injury to an infinite number of worlds, or become an entirely different version of yourself. It did have a warning, however, that if used too much it could tip off other versions of you - meaning he had to be careful for too many versions doing this could have disastrous results. The shape changing aspect apparently made a "copy" of a form, but because it would still be him, the shift was easy to make and stayed permanent. It isn't super clear why you would want to shape shift into yourself, but Harry shrugged it off, figuring the real reasoning behind the spell would become clear as he read on, similar to the previous spells.
The trap door finally opened as Harry finished mastering the final spell in that portion of the book, or at least to the best of his ability - It was rather difficult to tell, considering he was changing into himself.
