Suggest playing a different game

"I suggest we play a different game. I'm not sure I liked where that one was going." I play my part as the stodgy father figure.

Becka has other ideas though. "Great that game was getting boring anyway." I suspiciously raise an eyebrow at my sister. "Let's play truth or dare."

Josh gets a creepy grin and voices his approval. "Yeah!"

Now, I'm not so uptight that I have never played a game like this. But the thought of playing with my sister, my daughter and my cousin as the only women can only spell trouble. "Now wait a minute I like the direction of this game even less."

"Aww .. come on Daddy. It'll be fun."

"I am not doing dares, with my daughter."

"Then just pick truth."

"That doesn't seem like the best idea with you here either."

"Okay, fine..." I can see the gears turning in Penny's head trying to come up with a way to salvage the fun. "How about, you can opt out of any dare with a drink instead.". She batts her eyelashes as me doing her best to sway me.

It works, I can never say no to her if she puts her mind to it. "Okay, okay."

"Alright! Let's play."
