At the party

The music inside is thumping, a pretty generic set of the most popular recent music set to play by someone that probably considers themselves one of the best amateur DJ's around the college campus. There are people all over the house, and passing by a staircase, it looks like the partiers have taken over the upper floors of the house, too.

Your companions split up basically as soon as you enter the party, leaving you alone to decide what to do with your time. Apparently the other group from the floor arrived around the same time you did, because you see them peppered throughout the house. Wandering around, it looks like you have plenty of options. The party has lots going on all throughout the different rooms of the house.

In the living room, the hosts have a big green-felt table. There are a few people gathered around it playing poker, including John and Alaina.

The main dancing area is a big space that's been cleared out for the party. There are huge speakers at one end of the room pumping out dance music, and the crowd has coalesced around them while they dance. You see Kate in the crowd and notice what a sexy dancer she is.

As you walk around upstairs, you hear two people yelling at each other, even over the sound of the music. You head over to one of the hosts' bedrooms to find Ashley and Alicia at each other's throats, arguing over something you can't make out. There are some people gathered around them, even cheering the two on.

All around the house, though, there are people in a compromised state of mind. It seems like everywhere you turn, you find a sloppy drunk, or someone high out of their minds. Par for the course for a party, especially one held in the middle of the stressful exam period. You wouldn't pay it any notice any other night, but you see Susanna trying to usher some of them outside, maybe so they can throw up whatever they've ingested.
