Beth arrives.

You are settled in with the others, watching the movie and joying the snack and drinks when the doorbell rings. "That must be her!" you cry out as you go to answer. The others like to each other conspiratorially.

At the door, you meet up with Bethany Stillman, class treasurer, yearbook committee, above average grade student. She peers at you behind her coke bottle glasses while huddled up in a heavy fall coat and carrying an overnight bag over her shoulder. "Hello, Riley," she says to you.

"Hey, Beth! Glad you could come!" you say, letting her inside. "Can I take your coat?"

"Thank you," she says politely as she hands you her coat. Underneath she has on a knitted sweater and a skirt with leggings underneath.

"Uh... you wearing this for the pajama party?" you ask.

"I um... have my pajamas in my bag..." Beth explains, looking down at her belonging, "Would it be ok if I changed in the bathroom?"

"Sure, go ahead," you say, pointing her to the hallway restroom.

The short haired brunette walks by the living room and greets the others politely before going in the washroom to change. You rejoin the group and they surround you like a pack of wolves. Lynn speaks up first, "So, what's the game plan? We spike her drink to get her tipsy and more open to suggestion?"

"There's no need for that," Candace says, "I have a plan worked out. After the movie, I'll suggest we play a game to help loosen everyone up!"

"But if that fails, we can booze her up," Lynn says.

"Want to take wagers on the color of her panties?" Stacy asks.

"What's the wager?" Lynn asks back.

"Her panties, of course," Stacy says, "Loser has to get them off of her."

"I'm going to say cotton white," Lynn bets.

"White with cartoon animals," Stacy counters.

"Pink lace with a bow ribbon on the front," Candace throws in. The two other girls look at her for a moment. "Go ahead and check if you don't believe me..." she says, raising her hands in the air. The two scuttle over to the washroom to try and sneak a peak in the crack of the door. They hastily return a few seconds later and in another few seconds, Beth enters the room in a her pajamas. They are full sleeved and cotton with brand name princesses on the matching top and bottom. Stacy eyes Lynn and Candace before giving a self satisfied smile.

"Come on in, Bethany," Candace welcomes the girl, making space for her on the couch. Beth timidly joins everyone and you finish watching the movie together. As the credits roll, everyone disperses to wash up or stretch or replenish snacks. Candace gets up and asks, "Who's up for a game?"

"I'm in!" you smile, playing along.

"Sure," Amina agrees.

"Alright, let me get it set up!" Candace says, with half the group voting for playing.
