The cruel toy-maker

And the best thing about this is I'll make a shit-ton of money while doing so." You said to yourself, not realizing the looks people were giving you as you walked back home. "So that means I'll most likely go with a Dark Guild or do things on my own. A Dark Guild would obviously not have the restrictions of a normal guild while still providing easier access to better work. The only issue here would be the negative renown and the normal guild's interference. Working alone that wouldn't be a problem as they'd hardly have the time to care about one tiny mercenary (and a toy-maker of all things!), right? Though I'd also not have the support of a whole guild backing me up then."

At the time you finished your thoughts you had arrived at your front door. As you entered your home you noticed that your neighbours were whispering behind your back and suddenly it came to your mind that you said all of that out loud! Somewhat embarrassed you made your way inside and went to sleep (the proccess of filling out the form had taken much longer than you would have anticipated) leaving the decision for the next day.

You forgot about that, however, as you were so completely entangeled in your everyday business, that you didn't have a thought to spare on the subject and only remembered the dilemma when the reply (and therefore your ID) arrived along with your bills a few weeks later.

"Water bills, electricity bills, magical user ID, rent- wait, what was that? The reply finally arrived how did I forget about that? I didn't even decide on the way I'll use it yet! I gotta think fast now...
