"I'rr brkk hih!" you threaten. The wood of the staff bends in your powerful dragon-jaws.

"Don't, please, you win!" Selina pleads. With your clawed hands and longer reach, there's nothing she can do.

"Grrrr," you growl. It's hard to negotiate when your negotiating point is clamped tightly between your teeth.

Selina promises not to harm Fergus or your friends if you'll let her go.

You whip your head round and let the staff go, tumbling through the air until it crashes into the shrubbery of the moonlit Garden of Delights.

"Nor harm anyone else at Boarbristle!" you insist.

"Nor anyone else at Boarbristle," Selina promises.

You gaze into each other's eyes for a long moment.

"You're the most powerful beginning student I've ever seen at Boarbristle," Selina says, "I fear your instructors may not be worthy of you."

You glow inside at Selina's flattery.

"If you will keep me secret from Fergus, I would be your special tutor in Enchantments. You have more to learn, and more potential, than the duffers at Boarbristle would teach to a first-year."

"Hrmmf," you grunt with skepticism.

Selina convinces you to let her up for long enough to talk it over. An enchanted sleep still holds your Housemaster Fergus Firetail and your two guests Morgan and Fay, the third-year Minervals. She describes enough of her rivalry with Fergus to give you a sense of her enmity, but promises to put it aside for your sake.

You agree to a pact with Selina Lune. You'll let her go with a promise not to harm anyone at Boarbristle, conceal her from Fergus, and she'll become your secret tutor in enchantments.

"Let us seal it with a kiss," says the purple-robed, silver-haired enchantress.

Her lips are cool, but warm quickly against yours.
