John was still in deep thought about his lack of a date. Deciding that nothing ever got done standing around think about something he decided to go to the flower shop and think more in a better environment.
Floral Boutique was a "ma and pa" shop that moved to the mall last year. Contrasting with the rest of the mall, the interior was covered in vines and flowers. John had heard stories of men buying flowers here and getting crazy good reactions from their girlfriends. In one case her had heard a secret admirer bouquet of roses started a long lasting love. In another he heard about an ugly man finding a beautiful woman that no one knew because of these flowers. But all that was just hearsay...
"Howdy" said a handsome woman with short grey hair. "Names Olive, what can I do you for?"
"Oh, um..." John stammered.
"Are you one of 'em high school students looking for corsages for that there prom tonight? Talk about leaving it to the last second."
