The next appointment

John stared at his feet as he sat next to his mom in the waiting room, wondering if it was a mistake to bring her here.

"Hello, come on in" Dr. Valentine said as she opened the door to her office. "Nice to meet you, although I don't think John has actually mentioned your name when talking about you." She took John's mother's hand and shook it.

"Lilith." She said with a smile. "Do you two talk about me a lot?" She seemed concerned.

"Sometimes. Family life is very important and I just want to learn about John's as much as I can. That's why I invited you here today." She said as she lead them to sit next to each other on the couch and closed the office door behind them.

"Of course. Makes sense." Lilith felt assured. "Well we have a pretty normal family life. Anything you need to know in particular?"

"Yes actually." Dr Valentine sat across them in her chair. "How would you describe the openness of your relationship with your son?"

"Oh we're very open. We can talk about anything." Lilith nodded proudly.

"That's very good. Openness is important. So then you know that John is a premature ejaculator right?"

"Oh" Lilith recoiled with surprise. John just sank down into the couch.

"It's why he came to see me. It's by far the worst case of premature ejaculation I've ever seen."

"I know these things can be awkward to talk about in front of family, but this is very important."

"Of course." Lilith nodded. "Ask away."

"Well we should start with the simplest possible explanation for John's condition. Do you have premature orgasms?"

"Me?" Lilith gasped in shock.

"I know, it's a weird concept for most people. We don't really think of women as orgasming prematurely, usually we just call them multi-orgasmic. So do you think you fit this description?"

"Well I..." Lilith blushed and looked at John for a second. "Yes I suppose that describes me."

"How many orgasms would you say you have on average during one session of intercourse?"

"I don't know." She blushed more, but continued when she saw the doctor looking at her expectantly. "I've never really been able to keep count. A lot I guess."
