Gilly
The decision to marry a lowborn wildling girl was not the most popular one, but Robb had won the support of his bannermen and they accepted his decision. Gilly herself was thrilled, even though she did not fully understand the concept of rising in social status with a marriage. She did not mind sharing Robb with {if sansa_lover=1}Sansa and {endif}Sera{if red_god=1} (and Lady Visenya){endif}. Margaery Tyrell was at first angry with Robb for not marrying her, but eventually came to the conclusion that being his concubine was still preferable to having no sex at all.{if daenerys_lover=1} Daenerys Targaryen had also hoped for him to marry her, but it turned out she was even more of a cock-hungry whore than Margaery and she soon came to Robb's bed begging him to fuck her.{endif}
The marriage to a wildling had advantages that only became apparent later. When the White Walkers were moving, Robb and Lord Commander Jeor Mormont of the Night's Watch came to an agreement to let the free folk settle south of the wall and help defend the North against the coming invasion. The fact that the Lord of Winterfell had married one of their own went a long way in making them accept him as their de facto liege.
