The announcement that Robb Stark was marrying his sister Sansa caused quite the uproar, considering an incestuous relationship had been what caused the recent war in the first place. Yet somehow, Robb managed to pacify his bannermen, explaining that it had not been the incestuous nature of Jamie's and Cersei's relationship, but the fact that they were not married that had made Joffrey a bastard. Many Targaryen Kings of the past had been great rulers, and there was no denying Sansa was the most beautiful maiden of the North, and had a way of inspiring loyalty that could even match Robb's. She was loved by the people, and her time in King's Landing had made her wise beyond her years. Her aristocratic elegance and cool demeanor quickly earned her the nickname Winter Queen, even though she was no queen. She was gentle and kind all the same though, and Robb knew she was everything but cold when she shared his bed. With the snowstorms roaring outside in the long Northern nights, her hot, sweaty body melted in his arms and the sound of her passionate gasps as he plowed her filled the frosty air.

Their mother was the least happy with their marriage. She had, in fact, been worried about how close they were even before the War. Robb never managed to truly convince her that his was the best decision, but she wanted them both to be happy, and accepted what she could not change. The looks of disapproval when they publicly showed any affection never stopped though.

Sansa didn't mind Robb sleeping with other girls when she was tired or not in the mood.
