I hope to find out more about him and if he still lives here. I put the name "Brad Dowey" and the city into google. My mum never wanted to tell me his name but I did pick it up when she was crying and cursing him once.
Lucky for me there was only one hit. There is a bar owner called "Brad Dowey" owning the "Brad Dowey Club" downtown. I look up the "Brad Dowey Club" and it seems to be a strip club and there were photos of him together with party girls in sexy underwear. On the photo he was a hunk of a man, strong and thoroughly fit. I wonder if this is my father as I have never seen him before. I plan to go to this club and show him a photo of my mum when she was younger.
I put in the clubs address and start to look for the best route. Apparently there are buses going downtown and the drive would take only 45 minutes. I would be able to go to the bar and return in time before my mum gets home.
