On a 7-9, you are on the mend. You may roll to ENCOUNTER the nurse or a well-wisher. If you still have a CONSEQUENCE you may choose to stay and roll again before the next chapter. Otherwise return to a new scene in your House, in class, the banquet hall, etc.
"That...that does feel better," you say. The warmth from the tonic is spreading over your limbs. You still feel a strong pulse beat in your ears and limbs, and your nipples and penis are warm and stiff-swollen.
"You still look a bit pale," Miss Wormwood says. "If you're eager to get to your House, I can release you, but you may do better if you stay overnight." The green snakes she has in place of hair wave gently, seeming less aligned to her attention now.
Some options:
- Roll +Diligence (+1) (+2 Diligence, -1 Consequence) to ENCOUNTER the Nurse and ask for more treatment (a 10+ removes your CONSEQUENCE), ask for a FAVOR, or ask her for advice about Boarbristle Academy, or even be so bold as to ask her to help give you a manual release (ask her to HAVE SEX).
- Encounter a fellow student recovering from the Chilly Tarn or someone coming to visit you. +Bravery (-1) for the Leontes broom-rider with her brown skin and dark curly hair; +Diligence (+1) for Nadia or Sandevin the Beavertail Prefect or the Beavertail Tutor; +Ambition (-2) for the redheaded Draconis girl who looked terrified and embarrassed; +Cunning (+1) for the Minerval Prefect coming to find out how you pulled off that trick of making it to shore. (Even if you pass time commisserating, a 10+ result or getting a FAVOR could help you escape the Infirmary).
- Rest overnight, perhaps masturbating to settle yourself down if you dare, and roll +Bravery (-1) (+0 Bravery, -1 Consequence) to GET OUT OF THE INFIRMARY again.
- Go to House Beavertail and find your lodgings. (Write a chapter describing it). You'll still have the CONSEQUENCE of being chilled/embarrassed.
If you choose to ENCOUNTER someone, you'll still be in the Infirmary, and your next Move will be GET OUT OF THE INFIRMARY.
You have 1 XP and a CONSEQUENCE (recovering from chill and embarrassment at being exposed).
