The mission begins

As you exit the capital gates you find Elizabeth Rachael and Margaret waiting for you. You quickly ask, "Have you all been informed about our task?"

Rachael and Margaret silently nod and Elizabeth says "Yes... just be careful John..."

"Good... and I will Elizabeth..." You reply, touched by her concern. You continue, "I want you at all times to stay back from the danger and keep safe. If we get in trouble I want you all to run back to the capital... you understand?"

All three of the women nod before you head out.

It is a day's march from the capital to the horde's camp, your men at arms falling into formation behind you. You quickly send out scouts along the way, your experience quickly gaining the respect of your company. You arrive at the horde's camp at dusk.
