While disappointed, you understand his position. You drink some wine before you look at him and respond, "I understand lord Richard.... If you could, I would like safe travel into the Elven kingdom... they were our Allies in the previous war and I made friends with many members of their court."
Nodding his head, Richard replies, "That's a good idea... maybe they can help by lending us troops. But I can't afford to give you any of troops on this trip... I need them if Silva or your Uncle decides to march on my lands...." Sensing your disappointment, Richard continues, "However, any member of my family should prove to be a satisfactory guide."
