There were many things Anna Kendrick could have been doing with her time besides deciding to take part in a contest she considered to have questionable, at best, morals.

But the award for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress was one she had been coveting for a while now, and now that she had finally managed to snag a nomination for it, she figured this contest was a way for her to use her charms to gain a few extra votes.

Anna had never considered herself sexy, so it hadn't yet dawned on her that she might be asked to do something she would be uncomfortable with when she found your contact info and initiated things between the two of you in her trademark style.

"Hey, this is Anna. I am a foolish person and you shouldn't want to have anything to do with me. But if for some reason you're interested in that sort of thing, e-mail me back if you want me to give you a ring sometime," she typed, hoping that it wouldn't scare you away.

Which of course could not be further than the way you actually saw her e-mail, and the way she seemed to mimic in real life some of the characters she played was already more than enough for you to take a chance on seeing where things went with her.

So as you anxiously awaited her call, you told yourself not to be afraid to make a move on her.
