Get the keys.

"So when can I move in?" you ask.

"Once you write us a check for the first month's rent plus half as a security deposit, you can move in anytime," Sara replies.

"Good thing I have a check with me," you say, pulling a check from your wallet. "How much do I write it down for?"

You are relieved at the amount Sara tells you, it is under your budget. With four people living in a three-bedroom apartment, splitting the rent makes it much more financially manageable than living by yourself. The added perk is living with three beautiful girls!

"Thank you!" Sara says when you hand her the check. "Do you have a lot of stuff to move?"

"No. Let's say my..." you pause for a moment, looking down to avoid her eyes, before continuing, "... ex-roommate kept the furniture."

"Ex-roommate?" Jen wonders.

Alice pokes her friend with an elbow and points to Jen and herself, whispering, "Like us."

"Oh..." Jen nods.

"If you don't mind, can I come back in a couple hours with my stuff?" you say, trying to avoid the touchy subject.

"Of course!" Sara smiles. "Let me grab your set of keys before you leave!"

You watch Sara jog down the hallway and catch glimpses of her ass due to her short towel. Your new blonde and brunette roommates catch you staring and giggle, causing you to cast your eyes away.

"Here you go," Sara says, handing you the keys to the building front door, the apartment, and mailbox.
