Miranda spun on her heel and made her way back to the shuttle.

Once she was back on the Normandy, Miranda made straight for Liara's quarters, fury in her eyes. As she barged in, the asari doctor gasped, slamming a blue hand down on her holographic keyboard.

It was too little, too late as the human girls dancing for the alien's pleasure lingered momentarily on her screen. Miranda tried to ignore it.

"So, I'm groundside trying to find Shepard, while you're up here studying human anatomy?" Miranda said in exasperation.

Liara's cheeks flushed purple. She tried to stutter out an explanation, but Lawson wasn't buying it. Deciding there were more important matters to discuss than T'Soni's porn habits, Miranda found a seat began to relay the details of her excursion.

"So, what you are saying..." Liara parroted, clearly heartbroken. "Is that Shepard's body is almost completely destroyed?"

"...Yes" Miranda confirmed. "Though, she might not be lost yet." she continued. "Since the fall of the Illusive Man, I've taken it upon myself to keep a tabs on what remains of Cerberus. To begin with, it was to dismantle the network from within, but..."

It was only now that Liara raised a brow.

"You are the new leader of Cerberus?" Liara asked. Miranda simply nodded.

"Over the past year I've... rehabilitated Cerberus. Taken it from a terror group to actually helping with the reconstruction efforts." Miranda explained. It actually felt good to admit what she'd been doing to another person.

"I still have the Lazarus Project data. Everything on how we brought Shepard back the first time. I even have several suitable facilities. There's just one problem." Miranda concluded. She could tell she had the asari's interest.

"I need staff. Resources and credits as well." Miranda explained. "But with the Shadow Broker's help, I know I can pull it off again. We can bring back Commander Shepard." Lawson finished speaking, awaiting Liara's response.
