At a restaurant

Lauren arrived in front of her work, parking. She'd been working at the restaurant for a few years. She didn't like customer service, but the money made it appealing. She'd worked her way up from busser to waitress quickly. The other waitresses were jealous how much tips she got. They knew this was largely due to her stunning appearance. The kitchen staff were mostly men, and often could be seen staring at Lauren from the back. She'd roll her eyes at them, though she didn't really mind the attention.

It was a busy day, and the parking lot was full. Lauren checked her make up in the car, then walked in. The restaurant was crowded with families and people of all sorts. Lauren hurried into the waitress area, running a bit late. She hung her coat on the rack and prepared to start working.
