The next day!

Ash woke up and could already smell breakfast. Eggs and Bacon. His mother was cooking. She surely was acting like his mother again. That made him smile.

As he came down the stairs and had breakfast with his mom he started a little chat.
"So how are you feeling, mom?" Nothing unordinary to ask, right? Damn, he was so cautious of doing the right thing with her now.

"Great. Really." That surprised him, positively.

"How so?" he asked.

"I feel just perfect. You know, Ash, the last years, while you were away on your journey, I grew older, too. I didn't do so good housework. My back hurts while doing the laundry or cleaning the windows. It was hard to mow the lawn with a back like that, too. All in all, you could say... I just got old." Ash did not know where this was going, but he kept listening.

"But since yesterday that changed. Since we came back from Professor Oaks lab, I somehow feel different. I had the urge to clean the house again and so I did. I did all the chorsed just yesterday evening, and it was so easy. I just did them and it felt good. I felt a power in me. A power I could use to do these jobs. You dont know how this feels. It is like I was made to be the housewife I am. I feel like I have finally found my place in life again."

She is so happy Ash thought.

And that just because I told her to behave like she is used to. Maybe... Maybe these Omniballs can do good for people. Maybe I just catch someone with it and then tell him or her to behave like always and forget about the ball. Like that they will act on their own will and I am not forcing myself onto them but they are happy. I could make

"Ash? Aaaaash... are you listening, young man?"

"W-what? Oh, sorry, mom, I was lost in my own thoughts. What did you say?"

"I asked you, what you plan to do now. You are the Pokemon Master. Of course you are invited to stay with me for how long you wish to, but maybe you should go out there and look for a girlfriend or a place to start your own household. Maybe you open a gym. The PokeMaster surely would get a lot of trainers gathered." Ash turned red as his mother so casually mentioned him and a girlfriend.

Sure there was Serena, and he used to date her, but after their breakup, it didn't work out well with other girls. Maybe Brocks constant failure on women made him shock away from them, or whatever, anyway...

"I will see what I do. In fact, I might have some new goals to fulfill." He said with the newly formed plan of making happy Pokehumans.
