Megan left the house, avoiding her mother and headed to catch the school bus. She was just in time. She boarded the bus as usual but something seemed weird. Everyone was staring at her. She looked herself up and down to make sure nothing was weird about her outfit. She couldn't work out why, everyone was just staring. Even the driver. Everyone with an empty seat next to them motioned for Megan to sit there. Even the people she didn't ever talk to. She usually sat next to her friend Jenna, who was in her usual seat, biting her lip. There was also a seat next to Hank being offered to her. Hank was a meat-head who used to bully Megan when they were young. The only other seat was next to Peter. Peter was a geek who sat behind Megan in chemistry. He usually helps her with answers in class, but they don't talk outside of that. But in this case he was eagerly rubbing the empty seat and staring at Megan.
