Whatever this place was. It could be a station, a very large carrier ship, or even just a warehouse on some planet. She imagined the best way to find out was to look around.

She walked past various ships and reached the far wall, and eventually found a door along the surface. There was a touchpad next to it, and a tap opened the door. Apparently the owner of this place wasn't worried about security.

in the next vast room, Serris found what seemed to be a very large, zoo of sorts. Various things were in aquariums or terrariums. The creatures were all aliens as far as she could see now, she started to wonder if there was something more familiar somewhere.

This room was better lit than the hangar where her ship was parked, though most of it was from inside the enclosures. She could make out the walls in the distance, though it was obvious the room was pretty vast. She thought she could make out the glow of another touch panel on a wall not too far away.
