Serris traveled onward to another touch pad and door. passing through she found herself in even brighter surroundings and surrounded by what seemed to be alien trees. Many of them had a branched structure. One stood out as odd, having blue round bulges from where multiple off-white cylinders would emerge. She had to touch it to make sure it wasn't a hologram of a crude 3D computer object.

As Serris wandered around the room, pollen seemed to collect on her helmet. These were plants alright, though she hadn't seen any that were too familiar yet. she found herself leaving the forest and nearing smaller plants. Each stood alone, totally unique from the others present. The leaves varied in color, the green type from earth turned out to be less common on the galactic scale.

However, a wide patch of green caught her attention, and as she got close, the group of plants all seemed very familiar. These were her favorite plants, the combination made her certain that they were grown from seeds from her cargo hold. She grumbled. She had long missed the chance to provide the staple plants for the colony. She wondered whether they'd be a novelty if she brought them now. If nobody else brought the same specimens, they could certainly make a welcome change from whatever was there already.

Daydreaming about a planet she hadn't seen in almost a millennium came to a halt when she swore she heard clicking behind her. She turned towards the apparent direction, but saw nothing. She started to wander again, but the odd noise resumed. When she turned to look again, she heard a louder ruckus, but saw nothing again.
