The outdoor photo shoot w/ Trinity & Jessie.

With the help of some of the men from the guild, you head to the area in Griffith Park, where the scheduled cosplay photo shoot with Trinity & Jessie will take place. You find a good parking lot to park in, then set up a "base camp", using one of the picnic area, to put some refreshments on one table. The Hollywood Cosplay Guild also has a support staff of people that can repair costumes, and they've already set up shop at another table.

"Where's Trinity & Jessie?" You ask one of the support staff members.

"They're getting ready, Alex." The support staffer tells you.

It isn't long before Trinity & Jessie come out, with both of them going for the Power Girl/Harley Quinn duet from an ongoing comics series. Trinity has gone with the Power Girl costume, putting on the customary short, blonde wig. The white, long-sleeve leotard has been cut in the customary Power Girl manner, and she's gone with a full leather belt that has been dyed a blue color, with a brass buckle at the center. A pair of matching blue leather gloves has been put on, where she's managed to fold the back end of it, to give that customary look. The shine on her legs signals the sunlight reflecting off of her nude-colored pantyhose, and she's put on a matching pair of blue, knee-high boots, with high, broad heels. A large, brass-colored, round buckle provides one end to connect her customary red cape, and a long, small, brass chain, connects to the cape on the end. It allows her to complete that Power Girl look, as she gives you a big hug.

For Jessie's "Superhero Sidekick" Harley Quinn, her own, homemade leotard is similar to the one that Trinity is using. The exception, of course, is the diamond-shaped cut at the chest area. You can see the work she put in to do the alternating colors of black & red, that is most significant of the Harley Quinn look. You can also see the places, where she's sewn in the diamonds, to help make the Harley Quinn costume stand out, especially on her black cape, with the red diamonds in the middle. Both her gloves, & flat-soled, knee-high boots also alternate in colors, and you can also see the shine on her legs, given by her own nude-colored pantyhose. To complete the costume, Jessie has put white face paint on, red mascara on one eye, and black mascara on the other eye. Of course, she can't top off the Harley Quinn look, with a pigtail wig, also with alternating colors on each side.

"What do you think, Alex?" Jessie asks you. "I made the leotard myself to get the colors to alternate, and painted one of the boots orange."

"Beautifully done, Jessie." You tell her. "I'm sure it took you a long time to get the leotard done correctly."

"Yeah, it took me awhile." Jessie tells you. "Not only did I had to get the look right, but also make sure it's a comfortable fit."

You watch as one of the male cosplayers, currently in his street clothes, retrieve the mallet prop for Jessie, while you make your preparations to start doing the photo shoot. You start off with the ladies in the open field nearby, using a grove of trees & shrubs as a background. You do individual photos with them first, then move on to the duo shoot. After a brief water break, you put a couple of water bottles in the side sleeves of your pack, then sling it over your shoulders. You wait for both women to take off their boots, so that they can put on some comfortable shoes on, then make the walk up to the hills. It may seem like quite a walk, but you find a great spot, to take more photos of the ladies, once they put their costume boot pieces back on. With the skyline of Burbank & Glendale in the background, it provides some great photos of the ladies, as they pose like they're arguing & brawling with one another, as well as a back-to-back pose.

When all that was said & done, you let them put their comfortable shoes back on, and take the long walk back down to "base camp". Once there, you show them the photos you took, with other members of the guild also looking at them.

"Those look awesome, Alex!" Jessie tells you. "I can see why you kept adjusting our position & angle, so that you can get the right angle of the wind blowing our wigs & capes around."

"Look at the expression you gave us, Jessie," Trinity tells her, "when you did that pose of trying to 'smack that mallet on my head', only to 'have no effect' on me."

"Almost straight out of the comic book, right, Alex?" Jessie asks you.

"About as close as we can get it." You tell the ladies.
