The well trained team of muscly Bat Pegasai that carry Princess Luna around when she makes her royal progress and does the 'Winter Moon Celebration' are soon hovering with her chariot next to the balcony and Spike climbs aboard: asking one final question...
"Princess Luna, do I have time to stop and get some flowers and a box of chocolates? I want this to be a more than physical relationship..." Spike asks in the deep base voice which still doesn't sound right in his own ears, like someone else is speaking through his mouth...
"Take him to Madam Le Flur's." She commands, then holding on to the railing whispers in Spike's Ear "Tell them to put the charges on my account and use the code phrase 'AE Crew' when asked, you can pay it forward when somepony next comes to YOU for relationship advice." She then lets go of the chariot's railing and commands: "GO, AND USE ALL SPEED!" In the 'Royal Canterlot Voice'.
Spike rushes in when they land in front of one of Caterlot's few all night flower and gift shops, picks out a large box of chocolates and pre-made bouquet of 20 Red Roses with a handful of other flowers added, including Pink Carnations and "Foal's Breath", tells them to put it on Princess Luna's tab and gives the code phrase, then rushes back to the chariot and hops aboard, the Bat Pegasai taking off instantly. A nerve wracking 45 minute flight at break neck speed sees him set down in front of Rarity's shop where he rings the doorbell and waits.
"Huh?!?!?" Rarity exclaims sitting bolt upright in bed, having woken from an erotic dream where she was having sex with a dragon that looked vaguely like her cute little Spikey-Wikey, and who in the dream she knew WAS Spike, but grown up, a 'teenager' dragon now, and with a very impressive manhood, and this rich resonant voice that just drove her wild... "Just a dream..." Rarity mutters, not sure if she is relived or disappointed. She knows Spike is in love with her but he's just a baby, they couldn't have sex even if she wanted too, and she is NOT a pedophile, let alone an inter-species one. ~What is wrong with me? The doorbell rings again and putting on her bathrobe Rarity goes to answer it.
"Do you have any idea-?" She queries annoyed but sleepy as she opens the door then stops in shock.
"Hello Rarity: lovely night isn't it?" That same rich deep voice from her dream says, and there stands her dream lover, in the flesh, holding a heart shaped box of chocolates the size of her head and a bouquet of Red Roses.
