Be difficult

What was Captain Broderick thinking, handing such a... suggestive note to you, knowing full well that everyone delivering it to you would take the chance to read it.

It's like he's showing off! It's a little thrilling to be thought of as Broderick's lover by all the women you were taking to today, but it's embarrassing too... plus he even showed one of your bodyguards the sight of your spanked rear earlier!

You resolve to get back at him somehow when he arrives...

Once Broderick arrives, you greet him elegantly, hiding the joy you feel at seeing him come back safely with great difficulty. You still need to get some payback!

For the rest of the day, while Broderick does his rounds through the temporary camp, you accompany him. He seems content enough to have you by his side, but little does he know, you're still nursing your small grudges.

You start by interjecting clever quips into the conversation while Broderick is talking to people, usually making jokes that are slightly at his expense or designed to throw him off balance. After the first few times, he begins giving you stern looks, warning you to stop.

You've only just begun though, and somehow his frowns are working more like encouragement...you really want to see what will happen if you make Broderick angry...

By the end of the day, you're feeling quite satisfied with your, admittedly petty, but still rather enjoyable series of small harassments against the Captain.

After you grew bored with quips, you shifting onto subtly trying to make him stumble, sticking your foot in front of him whenever his guard drops.

You continued on with similar annoyances while Broderick was too busy with his rounds to devote any attention to stopping you, and by the end of the day, you can see he's got quite the temper built up despite keeping a calm face on the surface.

Managing a camp hosting the population of a town is no small job after all.

As everyone departs for their own tents, Broderick firmly steers you towards his, his grip slightly painful.

Once you're alone, Broderick looms over you, his voice low to avoid being heard outside, but still full of a simmering anger about to blow.

You're actually more than a little terrified by how scary Broderick can look when he wants to...but you feel a strange excitement as Broderick's furious, stern gaze looks onto you. He's just so... manly.

"What were you thinking, Mia? You were acting like a child out there!"

You feel a bit sullen at that...though you have to admit it's true. You give Broderick a pouty look, and you can't resist needling him again.

"You're the one who said to be difficult."

Broderick looks so mad that he can't speak, his face going red. That stern look of his just makes you feel all tingly inside...

You can see the whole day's been stressful for him, and the thought of helping him...unload that stress is making you giddy with excitement.

"...Have I been a bad girl, Captain Broderick?" You bite your lip seductively, "are you going to punish me?"
