Fight the hobgoblins

In the time you were gone, the goblins had thinned out considerably. Half of the hobgoblins lay dead, with only two left. However, the adventurers were faring far worse, with only a dozen left defending the village. The situation was ****, but your return boosted their morale somewhat.

"The crazy warrior's back!"

"Look at her, she's just swinging her mace left and right non-stop! What the hell?"

Finally, you reach the hobgoblin. Up close, there were a lot more intimidating. It held a defeated adventurer in its grip, bellowing a triumphant cry, before discarding its lifeless body. The hobgoblins eyes turn to its next target- you. You gulp and raise your mace just in time to deflect a swing from its battleaxe. To your surprise, it nearly knocks you off your feet.

Of course, [Infinite Endurance] merely allows you to move without tiring. You were still a low-leveled villager girl, and the hobgoblin was far stronger. This wasn't going to be an easy battle.

You trade blows with the hobgoblin. Each clash pushes you back further and further, but you're still standing. To your delight, the hobgoblin begins to slow down as it tires.

Your health pool is down to half. You begin to fight back, landing a few glancing hits here and there, but the hobgoblin returns it as well.

The hobgoblin's health bar was shortening, but so was yours. Cut off from the other adventurers by more goblins, there was no one coming to your aid. Was this the end? You had a feeling that you might lose all your progress if you happened to die.

Three health left! Blocking a blow, you counter-attack only to see the hobgoblin's axe racing towards you from your unguarded side. It was hard to tell who would hit first, but you could only follow through with your swing now.
