On a 10+, Carmen will willingly talk, take +1 forward

You lead her over to one of the couches in the lounge attached to the area around the elevators. She sits on the couch with you next to her.

"Listen, Vickie and I broke up pretty easy. We both figured out that we just didn't work together very well. We liked each other, but we just were missing something. I thought things went pretty smoothly," you say.

"Well, she thought so too, but then you went out with Tina McCarthy! She was mortified."

"Wait, that was like three weeks after we broke up? I was miserable with my buddies for two weekends, and then Danny fixed me up with her. They're cousins. We went to a movie and kissed, but nothing else happened."

"She thought you fucked her, and she wasn't over you yet! She cried for a whole weekend," Carmen says.

"Oh, so I moved on, but she hadn't, so that's my fault?" you ask.

Carmen looks at you with a raised eyebrow. "You have a point. She had trouble letting go." Her expression seems to soften.

"Do you still hang out with Vickie?" you ask. Your eyes flick down to check her out again.

"She went off to California trying to be an actress. We had a fight before she left, because I thought it was a bad idea. We haven't talked since." She seems sad at this admission.

"I'm sorry. She was a bit of a drama queen, so maybe this is the perfect job for her," you offer.

You both chuckle at that.

"Remember the time when she got passed over for cheerleader? Remember the non-stop tirades against the entire institution of cheerleading?" Carmen asks.

Vickie had been horrid for two full weeks, snubbing all the cheerleaders and talking about nothing else during that time. She was too wound up to enjoy a movie or have sex. Both you and Carmen suffered during that bout.

"Oh, yeah. That was fun times," you say, grinning. You both laugh so hard at the memory that Carmen falls into you and you hug her briefly. She lets you, then hugs you back.

Carmen seems to be less angry toward you now.
