Chapter 6 by ATerriblePerson ATerriblePerson

Which growth option do you take?

Spirit

You select the Spirit option. You feel yourself be forcibly removed from possessing the ruined chandelier, but otherwise not much seems to change that you could tell. Just to make sure it worked, you refreshed your stat screen.

Spirit
Lvl: 2
Melee Attack: -
Ranged Attack: -
Strengths and Weaknesses: Weakness to exorcism
Special Abilities:
Possesion(I) - Able to possess multiple inanimate objects. The objects posessed determine your stats.
Possession(II) - Able to possess a single living creature at or below your own level. You do not gain any of their knowledge.
Incorporeal - Invisible and intangible. Cannot attack or be attacked when not possessing something. You take damage when the object or creature you are possessing takes damage.

Just reading it was so exciting. Being an incorporeal presence wasn't so bad. You didn't need to be tied down by some dumb body. Or at least not one that you couldn't depossess. You really liked the idea of possessing a hero as well, though the level requirement was a bit troubling. This was a beginning area, but it wasn't that common that heroes were under level 3 after playing the tutorial and getting this far.

You observed the beastmaster, who seemed to still be busy sending a message to her mage friend. There was a small floating number over her head, which you assumed was her level. It seemed you were able to see levels of living things now, conveniently enough. Inconveniently however it showed the number 4. She was outside your allowable range, which meant you could either try to take her out with your normal attacks, or wait to see if you could possess somebody or something else.

What do you do?
