Francis didn't know what lay outside the strange room, but he knew that Xiana was very nice--except for the part about wanting to eat him. He knealt down beside her and placed a hand on her arm.

"Are you o.k.?" he asked.

Xiana looked at him with a strange, smiling expression.

"Caboa! Earthling! You fucked my C'lacdth!" she said.

"Um, Sorry," said Francis. "What's a C'lack..um...whatever."

Again, she giggled.

Francis blinked.

"So you're not going to eat me?" he asked.

"I could never eat my Caboa!" Xiana exclaimed.

"Well, that's a relief," said Francis. "What now?"
