There is nothing you can do

You think about your situation over and over, but you just can’t come up with a solution. Pushing the coffin of the cart won’t work, it’ll be too heavy for you. You can’t wait for others to help, for you don’t have the luxury of time. Turning back to Launsdorf is also out of the question. The only thing you can do is continue on and hope you meet someone in your travels.

You drive for hours, but there is nobody else on the road. The sun rises to her zenith. You take out your provisions and have lunch, but you are still alone.
Hours later sun starts to set, still nobody around.
By the time dusk is setting in, you have reached the base of the mountains and you still have not met a single soul.
You do discover a rundown shack near this abandoned road. You knock hoping you might find someone there, but it was empty as well. At least you’ve got something to stay the night.

You look to the west, across the flat fields you came from. The sun is already halfway down. It won’t be long now until night falls and Keyla rises from her sleep.
