Launch, Launch, Launch!

With the first 5 passengers now sealed into their launch pod, the Captain, Terry and his daughter Emma prepared for launch of their own pod. Once the first pod had landed this would send a signal back to Earth to signal that they could Launch their 2nd Hope ship, this one containing around 1000 new passengers, however until they arrived in another 31 years, they wouldn't learn of the catastrophe that Hope had encountered.

All systems check and LAUNCH! The first launch pod ejected from Hope, shortly followed by the second just minutes later. Emma stared out of the window in awe as her father and Captain Elise did their jobs. She could see the other pod and was jealous that they would touch down before them however that was short lived when she witnessed the other pod disintegrate during entry. Assuming that nobody could survive that, 8 where now 3. So much for Hope!

Their pod violently shook and the smell of burning was overwhelming when all of a sudden their landing boosters kicked in and the vast landscape of Haven cleared up outside the window. This place really was stunning! A few shudders and shakes later and...
