Shaking her head, Megan glances at the other girls before saying, “I…I think maybe it’s time to call it a night. We’ve all got class in the morning, right?”

You felt disappointment kick in, but didn’t say anything. Bev in particular looked pretty disappointed too, but the other girls almost looked relieved that someone else suggested it first.

“Okay…but you have to come play with us again sometime, alright?” Bev said to you, grinning.
