So, out looking for a cute guy?
Note sweeping social changes
Josie decides to quit fooling around for now and do some serious sociological research... Just kidding she goes to a club she knows of and starts checking the internet. Despite being quite lovely, apparently everyone is now and there are a lot more girls than guys so she stands in line making idle conversation and looking at facebook on her phone. Thinking about changing the ratio feels like a bad idea though, considering rules can only be changed for everyone.
After a twenty minutes or so of reading and gossiping josie notices some strange things. Relationship statuses are now webs of connection instead of just duos defined by level of commitment, "married" seems to mean "taking care of a child under school age" and few fathers stay with a girl longer than that. Josie also notices that many of the girls her age are pregnant or recently had babies. Searching for methods of birth control leads to a piece of legislation from about 20 years ago, banning all birth control after the "population crisis" which turns out was some kind of event that killed off a large portion of the population based mostly on how good of shape they were in, disproportionately targeting males and the advent of inoculations for most STDs becoming mandatory. Doing a quick search for her own parents you discover that they aren't married but have a close relationship, she also discover that your dad has kids all over your neighborhood.
Just as she stands reeling from that realization the bouncer, a tall handsome black man, touches your shoulder and tells you to go in.
What do you do in the club?
