Join Cameron and Tom

"Yeah, sure," you reply with a smile. You figure you could kill a bit more time, not to mention you were getting quite hungry now, having skipped breakfast in all the chaos of having been changed to a girl.

"Great, let's head over," Cameron said. The three of you walked together, you between the two boys, maybe walking a little closer to Cameron than a stranger normally would with another stranger.

"So, Lily, are you out with friends, or just by yourself?" Tom asked along the way.

"Oh, I'm out all by myself," you respond.

"How come?"

This catches you a little off guard. "Um—I'm new to the area, thought I'd check out the mall. Havent made any new friends yet."

"New to the area?" Cameron asks.

"Yeah, around Wilshire Court," you say without thinking.

"Really? I grew up around there too. My parents and siblings live there. How do you like it?"

"Uh—its nice," you say, not really wanting to elaborate and make another mistake. Luckily you had arrived at the food court. Tom went off on his own to grab his lunch while Cameron offered to pay for yours.

"What do you feel you're in the mood for? All of the mall's finest delicacies are available to you."

"I'm uh, really in the mood for a hot dog," you say honestly. Your favorite hot dogs were from this exact place and you had always ordered the same thing every time you came to the mall. "A really big one," you add.

You can see maybe a tinge of red hit Cameron's cheek, but you're totally oblivious as to why. Cameron orders for you and himself at the same place before joining Tom at a table. Tom sitting on one side of the table while you and you brother sit on the other. They're a little oddly quiet as the three of you eat your lunch.

"What do you two like to do for fun?" you ask, trying to dispel the silence.

"Typical guy stuff," Tom answers. "Cars, video games, girls," he continues with a grin, before Cameron kicks him, which you completely miss.

"Video games are fun, I just got that new zombie game. Its so graphic its awesome." You slowly put the hot dog deep into your mouth and take another bite, flashing a smile.

Cameron moves closer to you as the meal progresses, but you don't seem to mind. In fact, it kinda makes you feel good.
