How will the Bard get out of this predicament?
Bard: Flee into the back and borrow the barmaid's clothes
BARD, miming her character's discomfort and clutching her chest: "Uh- yeah, about that! I-ahem-think this is a little too much attention. Can we maybe go talk somewhere private? Like… the backroom?"
DM: The barmaid tilts her head in easy agreement. "Oh, sure thing sweetheart, don't let these pigs get your spirits down!" She waves you toward the door behind the counter, and together you slip inside. The tavern’s obscene cacophony dulls to a murmur as the two of you disappear into the storage room. Inside, the barmaid checks up on you with a caring, amused smile. "If you're not too rattled, would you mind telling me what you wanted to talk to me about?"
BARD: "Okay, look - I need a favor first. I, uh, need to borrow your clothes. Just for a bit!"
DM: The barmaid blinks, still smiling pleasantly under the spell’s influence. "Oh, well… if you needed them you could’ve just said so, love, no need for all this cloak and dagger." She begins unbuttoning her blouse with a soft chuckle. "You’re lucky we’re friends, or I’d think you were pulling some kind of prank."
BARD, chuckling nervously: "Uhm- hehe... yeah, imagine that."
DM: The barmaid’s smile never falters as she begins unbuttoning her colorful blouse, slipping the garment off her shoulders to reveal the freckle-dappled skin beneath. Her ample breasts sway slightly with the motion, their large pink-hued areolas caught in the low lantern light of the storeroom. Next comes her skirt, which she shimmies down her hips before handing her garments over to you. She's left nude, save for her socks and shoes, and the natural tuft of her beneath her toned tummy. "There you go, love. I don’t mind helping a friend in need."
She pauses, looking down and blinking in faint confusion. With a soft, mortified gasp she folds her arms across her body, as she discovers the absence of her undergarments. "Oh my gosh, how embarrassing! I could’ve sworn I put on my underwear this morning!" She glances around the room as though expecting to find them tossed over a barrel. "Huh. Must be losing my head today."
BARD: "Oh, I’m sure they’ll… turn up eventually," I say, as I quietly toss the ball of red string away and start putting her clothes on.
