Magik' video

"Why wouldn't I want to see the next one?" you ask off handily, as if the answer was obvious. You regret it as soon as the Danger Room fades and reveals Illiyana in her bedroom, sleeping, hugging an enormous teddy bear.

No sign of Apotheosis, so you take a moment to examine the room. Team Edward, my little pony, heavy metal bands, some hipster poster and a collection of Disney Movies memorabilia. Weird. but the Villain shows up, so you set aside the suspicions for the moment.

He comes closer without waking her up. Like a creep he slowly raises the blanket, to reveal the nightie the young mutant was sleeping in. She mumbles in her sleep, but doesn't wake up as his hands begin to feel her up and down.

You look at Magik again, and she is looking at you rather than the Danger Room recording. You begin to look for comforting words, but she cuts off your train of thought with a sharp "what?". You dare not say anything, and only the ruffling sound of clothes echo in the control room.

"What do you think you are doing?" the Illiyana in the recording say, and you turn to see a glimmering sword between them, and a silver armor partially covering her body. The would be **** chuckles softly and begins to say some half excuse, but she kicks him off her.

"So, you think you can take me?" the cocky bastard says. and Illiyana snorts "You are just an amateurish punk". Apotheosis lunges at her, but slams his face in a shimmering bright shield that suddenly appeared between them. She riposted with her blade, and he screams in pain from the very first cut. He gestures but once more something protects her, and another wound begins to pour down blood.

"He is a telepath, but my mind is... more than a bit screwed up. Also his powers are partially born out of sorcery, so my Soulsword fucked him up. And then I sent him to hell." Your eyes returned just in time to see a brilliant disk appearing from beneath him. "Or so that was the plan"

She was fast, but he came out faster. This time he dodged the bright lights and landed a solid blow on her, sending her flying across the room. He was on top of her before she could react. But all this ruckus started to attract attention, so Apotheosis said "shit. Next time pumpkin" And disappeared.

You sigh relieved.

"My brother saw this recording. That was why he swore to kill Apotheosis if he went rogue again." A long moment of pause "Also that is why Dr Frost started the special training sessions, to prepare us in case Apotheosis attacked again. The next video shows these sessions."
