Start with the basics.

As soon as you make your way out of the dressing room a sense of fear begins to makes your skin crawl. The place seems to have been the scene of some kind of brawl, and a big one at that, lights hang from the ceiling, racks of clothing are strewn about, and most of the mirrors and glass shelving is shattered. Broken glass seems spread all over the floor. “This can't be real.” Cautiously you make your way across the isles to the shoe section, pull on a simple little pair of neon green socks, stuffing 2 more similarly bright pairs into your purse, then pull on a pair of or cute but sorta sensible pink and blue shoes that according to the box are waterproof trail running shoes, but as far as you can tell they are just very comfortable sneakers. Now that your feet feel more safe, you set to work finding something to wear, figuring better to have to take off your shoes over and over to try on clothing rather than end up with glass in your feet.

As soon as you bend down to pick up a package of panties a loud bang jolts you with fright, but you somehow manage not to make any noise. Quickly you rip open the package and pull out a pair and hold them up to you, deciding in an instant that they are to big. Grabbing a smaller package you rip them open as well, and as another loud bang of something hitting metal, you yank up a pair of pink cotton panties that sit low on your hips. Sticking with small size, you grab a white tank top and pull it on as well. Then you hear what you can only imagine is some sort of large dog, a snarling growl mixed with the snuffling sound of large nostrils pulling in air as some large beast sniffs the air. Ducking down you hide, but can't resist taking a look.

You spot the creature only an instant before it turns it's huge head toward you, and you are able to duck out of sight. The beast is easily 7' or more long, covered in thick matted wet fur, with a head very similar to that of a wolf, yet somehow looking a bit human like as well. It has long hairless ears that stick out to the sides that are pointed and meaty, and it's teeth are simply huge. The other thing that your mind fights to deny seeing, but you are sure that the creature has hands and rather than walking on padded feet like an animal it walks on it's knuckles like some kind of ape. You are sure it didn't see you, yet it does something that can't be possible, it speaks, “I smell you witch. I don't know how it is that you are alive, I know I ate your soul.”
