Chapter 32 by Indirect

How does she handle it?

She still tries to hide it in public

Months go by and all three of you get used to the new rhythm of life with a baby lamia. It's actually not all that bad, Linneth is a good girl who doesn't cry too much. She also loves her sleep, so once you get her to bed for the night she curls up and murmurs quietly to herself all the way till morning. The only real downside is not something you have to deal with - it's that she's a growing girl who needs a lot more milk than a normal baby.

Before any centauresses, cataurs or any of your other creations manage to give birth you quietly went around to check on them, pregnant and non-pregnant girls alike and increased their future milk output. You also made changes in the men so any daughters will have the same boost. All of the 'taur girls have a lot more body mass to support that extra milk production and it's going to look a lot less unusual if they all provide a lot of cream. Doing that did show you how many of your 'taurs are already pregnant, as well as the fact that two of the centauresses are already making milk thanks to the desires of their lovers. What naughty girls.

Despite her growing belly, even quicker to show with the twins, Doe refuses to let any of the girls in the army coddle her or draw her into conversation about her babies. She barely even admits to having given birth to Linneth. She won't even talk about baby stuff with centauresses who are near to going into labor themselves. And any attempt to comment on her belly is met with a **** glare.

But at home things are mercifully different. Your wife can't and won't ignore Linneth, nor can she ignore Linne. So there's a new balance - outside the tower Doe is a strong, fit woman who's all about training, who insists you ride her on exercises, etc. But once she's inside the tower you get to meet the other Doe, the woman who's keen to hear all about the things Linne has done with Linneth during the day. The mother who joyfully holds Linneth in her arms and wraps her tail around the squirming baby while she feeds her.

Then a opportunity presents itself - Linne is turning 20 and you convince her to do something special for her birthday. Of all the people in the world Linne is the only one more worried about Doe. She really wants Doe to open up more and to have more friends instead of keeping everyone at arm's length. So your cataur is pretty keen when you present your plan. Simply, you're going to hold the party at the tower and you'll invite all sorts of people who have good reason to talk about lamia and 'taur babies.

There's an eager Ariane, still not showing but definitely pregnant. Hopefully the duke can make it too, perhaps along with his mistresses. There's the other modern black sheep of the nobility, baroness Amara Vencillan... and her centaur husband... and their other wife, Amara's former maid. To round things out, literally, there's Sasha - not surprising that she was the first centauress to get knocked up - Hanna, also a centauress, also pregnant and one of Doe's friends from before her capture, Iris, the first pregnant dogtaur and little Sarinna, the first pregnant foxtaur.

With so many pregnant girls and happy husbands you're hoping that there will be so much talk of babies that Doe won't be able to resist. If you can get her out of her shell maybe she can finally be proud of the babies growing inside her.

Does it work?
