“Okay yeah, but why are we REALLY here?” It was sometimes like pulling teeth with Lisa, she would only tell you if she wanted to, or if you wore her down like I usually do.

Lisa stopped and turned back to me, almost causing me to bump into her before she asked:

“You gave Erica a ride home the other day.” I say asked, but really, it was more of a statement of fact.

“Correct.” I nodded.

“When I specifically told you to wait for me since I had more plans for her.” another statement of fact.

“Also correct.” I nodded once again.

“Why?” Ah, finally a question, accompanied with a patented folding of the arms that Lisa loves to do when she is lecturing someone.

“Because it seemed more fun that way.” Lisa simply nodded back, as if she understood, not in the sense that she considered my position valid, but more of a processing of what I was saying.

Without another word, Lisa turned back around and started walking again, this is usually how Lisa acted when she was really furious with someone, and that usually ended with someone being stripped naked at the very least.

This was either going to be really humiliating for me, or really fun… Or both, really.
