Double Trouble
Skylar Wayne was laying in her bed, staring up at the ceiling, trying not to die of boredom. It was very, very hard. The sexy young heiress was barely dressed, clad in some white panties and a lacy white bra. Her tanned body was as toned as ever, her blonde hair was a little messier than usual, and she had a dreadfully bored look in her usual teasing eyes. She’d had to buy a few new bras recently, as she seemed to have hit a new growth spurt. She’d been slightly worried about pregnancy when her tits had suddenly grown bigger, but she was all good on that front, thankfully. She’d checked.
As for this fucking punishment, it seemed like it would never end, even less than 48 hours from sweet deliverance. Her mother had always been a very strict woman, and it was pretty understandable. She’d been widowed with six year old twin children and had had an enormous company dropped on her shoulders all of a sudden. Some women might have buckled under the pressure, but Sophia Wayne never buckled under anything. She was the strongest woman Skylar knew, but that had the unfortunate effect of Skylar and Sophia butting heads constantly.
An immovable **** meets and unstoppable object, as her idiot brother liked to joke. Skylar was used to always getting her way, but Sophia was the one person who ever drew that line in the sand and told Skylar very firmly she couldn’t cross it.
Suffice it to say, Skylar and Sophia argued frequently. This latest three week punishment wasn’t entirely due to a single event, and it certainly wasn’t as much of a wild story as Skylar might have led certain people like Jace and Isabelle to believe. It had been a punishment due to a few of Skylar’s latest antics, and had also been the result of an extremely pissed Sophia.
Sophia wasn’t the kind of woman to change her mind, even if she had been pissed beyond belief when she made the choice. Skylar admitted she had been in the wrong, but she, too, had been incredibly pissed off. Her whole life, it had just been her, Sam, and their mother. She barely remembered her father, and she had spent several years in her early childhood despairing as memory after memory of her father seemed to fade. Now, at eighteen… she couldn’t remember her father’s smile. Sure there was photos, but it wasn’t the same.
She couldn’t remember his laugh, or the way it felt when he hugged her, or the way he talked. It was brutal, slowly forgetting a person. It was semi-possible Skylar had never really gotten over her father dying, and the news that Sophia was… remarrying, well, it sickened Skylar. The guy her mother was marrying wasn’t an awful guy. He actually seemed quite nice, but Skylar had very solid blinders on every time she looked at him. All she could see was a man who wasn’t her father.
Thank God he hadn’t moved in yet, but Sophia kept mentioning how soon it was. How soon the engagement announcement was going to be. How soon the wedding was going to be. Skylar had just needed some air, really. She hadn’t intentionally meant to, well… she had, actually. She could hardly think straight after a dinner with him and his stupid kid, all while Sophia made eyes at-
Skylar shuddered. She couldn’t even think his name without revulsion twitching through her. He could be the nicest guy on earth, but she hated his guts. And this punishment was the worst thing imaginable right now, because all she really wanted to do was fall asleep in Jace’s arms.
Instead, she was lonelier than ever, cut off from doing anything after school, including cheer practice. Skylar would bet the Wayne fortune that Anastasia was delighted by this news, nearly a month of Skylar-free practices.
Skylar couldn’t even get laid, unless she was willing to slum it with Sam, which she just wasn’t. So she just stewed in her room, angry and lonely and horny.
A knock came at the door, and Skylar glanced over to glare it.
“Who is it?” she asked.
“It’s me.” came Sophia Wayne’s voice, clipped and frustrated already.
“Come on in.” Sky said bitterly. Her mom entered, and Skylar glanced over at her. She greatly resembled Skylar, just matured. Same blonde hair, same green eyes… the only noticeable difference was Sophia didn’t have Skylar’s mischievous wild smirk. That was all Jonathan Wayne, according to Sophia. It had made Skylar feel close to her father her whole life, like her and her dad had been similar people, something she always took pride in.
“You know what’s happening Monday night.” Sophia said. Not a question, a statement.
“Unfortunately.” Skylar sighed.
“Are you inviting anyone?” Sophia asked as calmly as she could. “You’re not grounded anymore as of Monday morning.”
“Jace.” Skylar said straight away, sitting up eagerly.
“Fine.” Sophia said. “Hopefully you’ll behave with him here. Don’t want to act like a fool in front of your boyfriend.”
Usually when Sophia called boys Skylar’s boyfriend, she had the immediate burning urge to correct her mother that said boy wasn’t her boyfriend. Skylar hadn’t had that with Jace recently, but she said it regardless, almost on autopilot.
“Whatever you call him. I do want you to try and get to know them, Skylar. They’re going to be family very soon.” Sophia said sadly.
“He’s not Dad.” Skylar said fiercely.
“Of course he’s not!” Sophia snapped, with such **** it rocked Skylar back slightly. “If you think I have forgotten your father, you are incredibly wrong, Skylar. I will love him until I die, but I also know he wouldn’t want me to be alone the rest of my life… I don’t want to be alone the rest of my life. It’s not yours or Sam’s fault, but both of you are leaving this summer. You’re going to go off and start your own families, and I just don’t want to be alone. Maybe that’s why I started dating more seriously recently, but I really think this could mean something. Please try to understand.”
Sophia turned to walk from the room, and Skylar sighed heavily.
“Fine. I’ll try not to rip his head off.” Skylar said reluctantly. Sophia chuckled a little wryly.
“Thank you, darling. Oh, and please make sure Jace dresses nice. It is a fairly fancy event.” Sophia said. Skylar laughed.
“I might have to go over there and dress him myself. Poor boy doesn’t have it in him.” Skylar snorted. Sophia smiled at Skylar, and something about how knowing those green eyes were unnerved Skylar. Like maybe Sophia had noticed something about Skylar and Jace.
Well, damn what her mother thought. Skylar Wayne wasn’t the sort to settle down with anyone…
Right?

Jeremiah Holland sighed impatiently as he sat on his bed, waiting. His twin children had both left the house, Jace over to visit Olivia, Dana over to see Brooklyn, and he’d been very pleased when Daisy sat down next to him on the couch downstairs, leaning against his side, her hand slipping down to rest on his thigh.
“Miss me, Daddy?” Daisy had teased.
“Of course I have. I’ve been thinking of you non-stop since we bowled together this morning.” Jeremiah had told her, almost desperately, which had made her laugh.
“I do have that effect on men.” Daisy had winked. “First time I’ve done it to my daddy though, huh?”
“Not even.” Jeremiah had chuckled. “You’re too sexy for your own good sometimes.”
“Such a charmer.” Daisy had licked her lips. What might have happened then, Jeremiah would never know, because Danielle had started coming downstairs. Daisy had leaned back from him, and then somehow, Danielle had gotten Daisy to agree to come upstairs and help her pick a dress for tonight. Her, Rachel, and Claire were going out to a club, apparently.
Daisy had suggested Jeremiah come up, too, for a male opinion. Some wives might have come straight to their husband for dress picking advice, but Danielle and Jeremiah hadn’t acted like a married couple in years. While Jeremiah clearly hadn’t been her first choice, Danielle had nodded and agreed that some male perspective might not hurt. Which led to now, Jeremiah sitting on the bed, waiting for Danielle and Daisy to finish up in the closet. As he sat, he contemplated his marriage. What kind of husband was he, really? He hadn’t been there for Danielle in years, especially not sexually. Once, a long time ago, there’d been spice in the relationship.
They’d both been young and wild, though somewhat hampered by Danielle having Daisy right after graduation. But still, their connection had persisted until after the twins were born. Jeremiah had started his company with Jensen Barnes, Rachel’s husband, and the pair of them had suddenly become incredibly busy. Creating a real estate firm in Coral Sands was hard work, and besides the long hours, the commute was rough, too.
Jenson had managed his time better somewhat, but Jeremiah had always been very single-minded, and for years, his near sole focus had been Jewel Development Company. He couldn’t blame Danielle for getting pissed at him, but as the sole money-maker for a family of five, and the CEO of a company, no less, Jeremiah had to put his focus into the JDC. He didn’t like being away from his family either. Well, not at first. Once the fighting started, Jeremiah welcomed the relief that being at work gave him, which meant more time at work, which only made the arguments worse.
But now, they really didn’t even argue anymore. It was almost… indifference. She didn’t expect him to be there for her as a husband, and he didn’t expect her to be there for him as a wife. Both of them tried their best with the children, though, and Jeremiah knew that his three children had only turned out the way they had because of Danielle. Jeremiah had barely had a hand in it, which was rough to think about, but he’d also given them a comfortable, happy life, and given Danielle the ability to raise their children without having to worry about money.
Jeremiah and Danielle had tried some date nights even still, when the twins were young. Six or seven or so, and that’s when Olivia started babysitting them and Daisy, too, but the date nights hadn’t fixed anything.
“Daddy, you ready?” Daisy’s voice came from the closet, and he shook out of his reverie, nodding before realizing she couldn’t see him.
“Yeah, I’m ready.” he replied, and the door opened. Daisy walked out first, still dressed the same as before, but she was followed by Danielle, who’d put on a sexy little party dress. It was a deep purple color, one which popped off her aquamarine eyes nicely. It hugged the shapely curves of her body, and greatly accentuated her bust, showing off a very nearly obscene amount of cleavage. The dress was short, too, coming down to just about mid-thigh, showing off her fit long legs.
Damn. How long had it been since Jeremiah had taken a beat and just admired Danielle? At some point, he’d started taking her for granted far too much. This opportunity here, it was certainly a rarity. His eyes roved the sexy body of his wife, and he nodded approvingly.
“Danielle, you look…” Jeremiah struggled to find the right words, before finally settling on “ravishing.”
Danielle looked faintly surprised, and that surprise melted into a shockingly genuine smile. “Thanks, Jerry.” she said lightly.
“Told you he’d like it.” Daisy smirked, nudging her mother in the ribs.
“Indeed you did.” Danielle nodded, her eyes still looking at Jeremiah with a faint amount of surprise. He realized with a start what it was. He was actually checking her out. It had been too long, it really had.
“Don’t party too hard tonight, Mom.” Daisy teased. “You know we have that big pool party tomorrow.”
“How could I forget? You only keep reminding me about your college friends coming back every twenty minutes or so.” Danielle said wryly.
“Excuse me for being excited.” Daisy retorted, putting her hands on her hips. “I haven’t seen Ariel in too long.”
“Well, she’ll be here bright and early tomorrow.” Danielle nodded. “You’re still able to grill tomorrow, right, Jeremiah? No last minute work commitments?”
“Not that I know of.” Jeremiah shook his head. “Should be all set for grilling. And if something does step up, I’m sure Randy can step in.”
“Mhm.” Danielle nodded, her expression hard to read. “Oh, actually. That reminds me, maybe I should invite Kaitlyn for tonight…”
———
Dana Holland laid out on Brooklyn’s bed, her head in her best friend’s lap while both girls scrolled on their phones.
“So, how was Shoreline?” Dana asked off-handedly.
“Um… good. And.. bad?” Brooklyn sighed. Dana set her phone down, glancing up at Brooklyn. The huge globes on Brooklyn’s chest obstructed her view of her best friend’s face somewhat, so Dana sat up to face her.
“What happened?” Dana frowned.
“Well, I spent most of it with Jace.” Brooklyn started uncertainly. Dana’s eyebrows raised.
“Oh? Putting the moves on my brother?” Dana teased, but she felt a weird spark of jealousy inside her. It wasn’t like she owned Jace or anything, but they had been kissing a lot recently… and well, the thought of him kissing Brooklyn and not her… She swallowed those feelings though, and tried to put on a grin.
“But that’s good, right?” Dana asked, confused.
“Oh, it was very good.” Brooklyn said, seemingly unable to keep a smile off her lips. Dana looked at Brooklyn, really looked at her. She was not only several inches taller than Dana, but she had just absolutely stupidly amazing curves. She was a flawless hourglass, and she had these incredible very large tits that all the boys drooled over, but that was nothing compared to Brooklyn’s absolute dumptruck of an ass, which Dana had caught just about every man she knew staring at at some point. Jace, Evan, David, Aiden, Owen, Jeremiah, hell, even Jayden! Or maybe especially Jayden. Dana had yet to forget what she’d witnessed this morning, what she’d seen Brooklyn and Jayden doing on the couch.
It was no surprise that Brooklyn’s body was so perfect even her brother fell for her. Dana glanced down at her own body, slim, nearly skinny, and petite, too. She was tiny, she didn’t have the tall imposing grace of someone like Skylar or Anastasia. Nor did she have the mouthwatering assets of somebody like Brooklyn or Daisy. Hell, the only girl Dana knew as short as her was Val, and even Val had huge tits and stupidly incredible curves, just like Brooklyn.
But nope, Dana was cursed to be skinny and petite. She had largish breasts, sure, but they were a whole lot smaller than the majority of the girls she knew, her own family members included. Her mom, Daisy, Izzy, her other cousins Alexis and Destiny, they were all stacked.
“Dana, are you listening?” Brooklyn asked, and Dana startled.
“What? Oh, uh, no, I got distracted.” Dana shook her head.
“Well, I was saying, the day with Jace was almost perfect. We played a bunch of games together, alone… it was almost like a date.” Brooklyn explained.
“That’s awesome.” Dana put a big smile on her face. “Congrats, Brook!”
“Well, it was awesome. Then Jace almost kissed me.” Brooklyn sighed.
Dana’s heart clenched, but she **** that thought away. “Uh, why is that bad?”
“Because he didn’t! He looked into my eyes as he was leaning in, and I thought ‘this is it’, but I don’t know. He was looking into my eyes and then he suddenly pulled back.” Brooklyn despaired. “Maybe he changed his mind. He’s not the kind of guy to be too scared.”
“True.” Dana agreed without thinking, her thoughts a bit jumbled with thoughts of Jace kissing her. “Well… he does have quite a few girls he does ‘stuff’ with, you know.”
“So what? I should just move on? Forget about him?” Brooklyn sighed sadly.
Dana shrugged. “I don’t know, Brook. I just know Amy or Skylar or Olivia or some other girl is usually staying over in his bed.”
“I can’t compete with any of them.” Brooklyn despaired. “I… I don’t know.”
“I guess you have to either try and make a move yourself, or try and move on.” Dana said uncertainly. “If he didn’t kiss you, maybe you should try kissing him.”
“Yeah, I’ve definitely thought about it.” Brooklyn said. “I don’t think I have the courage for that though. Plus, it would make things so weird if he rejects me. God, Dana, I wish I could just gaze into his eyes and he’d kiss me.”
“You know me and Jace have the same eyes, right? It’s always very weird for me when you talk about how gorgeous his eyes are.” Dana laughed.
“You two do not have the same eyes, even if they are the same color.” Brooklyn laughed, too.
Suddenly, the door to Brooklyn’s bedroom opened, and both girls jumped. Owen and Jayden stood on the doorstep, and Dana watched as both boys’ eyes drank in the view of the girls in their skimpy pajamas.
“You gorgeous ladies wanna come watch a movie with us?” Owen grinned, his eyes lingering on Brooklyn's cleavage.
“I think we’ll pass.” Brooklyn shook her head.
“C’mon, Brook.” Jayden spoke up. “It’ll be fun.”
Dana and Brooklyn exchanged looks.
“What movie?” Dana asked.
