"Yeah, I guess it is the wasp's" you say nonchalantly, bracing yourself for the fight

"Janet's?" The blonde asks with a frown "Why are her panties here?" You cant help but remember how you are powerless and she is one of the most powerful avengers.

"She came around while you were sleeping. Complain about the noise we were making. Asked if I was your new boyfriend" Her cheeks redden, which you so sweet after how lewdly she behaved just moments ago. "Am I?"

"I wasn't even thinking about that. No, you aren't." you feel as if she put a sword through your chest. She could have hesitated a little more, at least.

"... and after i told her that we had sex." You keep your blase tone, looking for any signs of jealousy. It wasn't right, you knew you would have been jealous. But you only find a casual, amused smile "Good. So this is your trophy. Take better care of your things, hunter" she shoves the blue flimsy thing in your hands and walk to the door.

Dodged the bullet. Feeling lucky, you press on. "Aren't you forgetting something?"

"Yes?" She asks, you can tell she is starting to dress her uniform.

"You also owe me something." you cross your arms, and suddenly a white tong is flung your way. "Never say I don't pay my debts"

It is strange, almost as soon as you catch the piece of underwear you feel your powers coming back to you. Worried, you ask Valkyrie "Did the mark of **** return on me?"

She appears, fully dressed already, and takes a good look at you. "No. Why?"

"I can feel my powers back. So it wasnt them, it was something else. Also, why did they come back now?" You really dont feel like dying. You recreate your costume mentally, but add a jacket to put away your 'collection'. You mildly wonder if you can make it grow.

Neither of you had answers. You both go downstairs where you find other avengers, who treat the two of you as a couple. Valkyrie plays along, and so do you, it is better than being considered a trespasser. Captain America is at first suspicious, but he relaxes after you ask him to become one of the avengers.

"I am powerful. I don't have much experience, but I trained extensively. I am willing to follow orders, I know how each one of you are several years my senior in this" the last remark made a few uncomfortable, you realize your faux pas. "Also... my powers were briefly gone this morning." You swear you could see a snicker from several members of the avenger, like you said something funny. "They came back. But I dont know why they were gone"

Your forthrightness pays off, and Captain America accepts you under probation. You spend the rest of the day in rigorous training, measuring your skills versus different hero or heroes. While you are confident you are stronger and better trained than any of them, you ended up losing more often than not as you try to keep the full extent of your powers secret.

The Valkyrie leaves with a few other avengers, including Captain America and the Black Widow. None of the others seem to know their mission, but they assure you Valkyrie will be okay.
