Anticipation

Lord Luthor was not present for breakfast. While that would make everything more pleasant, Vel found himself a bit disappointed. He’d kind of love to have breakfast with his father while his cum was leaking out of Adi’s and Ella’s asses.

Both Lynn and Lady Rienne greeted the trio warmly, while Dina opted for a bitter glare. Vel suspected jealousy, she was probably beginning to feel isolated. And of course there was the whole thing about potentially having to get him off with her tits later, that might be part of the reason why she was staring daggers at him.

“So, children, what has everyone got planned for this lovely day?” Ella was once again swamped with tutor appointments. Lynn was meeting with her cicerone, much to Vel’s displeasure. “And what about you, Adeline?” Vel could feel Adi’s excitement. “Well, right after breakfast I have to be Vel’s second.” Everyone except Vel and Dina reacted with surprise. “Second? For a duel? Who is my son dueling?” Vel took over. “Dina, of course, do you not remember?” Lady Rienne looked upset. “Oh, how did I fail as a mother to have such fools for children? You’re not actually planning to fight each other, are you? I assumed the two of you were just blustering” Dina spoke up. “We are, Mother. It is a matter of honor.” Their mother was fuming by now. “There’s nothing honorable about fighting family. You could seriously injure one another!” Vel shook his head. “We’re just doing a classic three tilt, Mother. Injury is unlikely.” His mother glared at him. “Jousting is dangerous, and you know it, young man! Blunted lances or not, you could fall off your horse. And don’t forget about your father’s cousin! He died in a tourney because a lance splintered and pierced his throat!” Dina chimed in again. “We know how to put on a gorget, Mother.” Lady Rienne’s breathing grew frantic and she seemed furious, then she suddenly exhaled and seemed to deflate. “There’s nothing I can say to stop this folly, is there?” Both Dina and Vel shook their heads. “Fine, fine. But do not expect sympathy if one of you is injured. And should either of you cause the other serious harm, there will be consequences.” Both siblings nodded, accepting that. “Worry not, Mother, I won’t hurt him.” Adi scoffed. “As if you could, Dina. Vel is unstoppable on horseback.” From there, the conversation grew a bit more relaxed again, but tension remained in the air.

Vel knew Dina valued her honor as a warrior highly, prized it even. But he wasn’t sure she would honor her word when she lost, so he resolved to make sure she did. He reached into her mind and found that brittle membrane of hers. Even with using only minimal power, fracture had terrific effect. Cracks aplenty spiderwebbed out from the impact point. Vel gleaned some insight into Dina’s surface thoughts, but they were mostly about prep and strategy for the joust. Looking at those felt like cheating, so he avoided them. Now, what to suggest? A warrior’s honor is paramount. That was rejected, she already believed that. He was not surprised but had needed to make sure. Abiding by the terms of a duel is a matter of honor. To renege on a wager about the outcome of a duel would be beyond shameful. That sank in very easily, elements of it she already believed. Vel felt that it wouldn’t even need reinforcing, which was great. If I lose, I have to jerk Vel off with my breasts. Anything else would sully my honor and be much worse. It sank in as well, with surprisingly little effort. His sister really cared about her warrior’s honor. I should do my utmost to honor the agreement, so if I do have to jerk him off, I should do it right. Making sure it feels good for Vel will be a matter of honor. That one took a bit more effort, but sank in. Vel was really looking forward to their joust now, and the inevitable aftermath.

His reserves were still healthy, so Vel decided to lay some groundwork for the future. Only strong men who can fight are worthy of my attention. Oh, she already believed that, and quite strongly. Perhaps that shouldn’t surprise him. Only a man strong enough to beat me is worthy of me. That sank in, good. A warrior is responsible for their own defeats and must accept the consequences. That sank in readily enough but took a bit of power. He wasn’t shocked that Dina didn’t like the idea of consequences. If I accept a fight with someone and they overpower me, whatever they choose to do to me after is my own fault. That was accepted, but with a lot of effort. He was glad he’d made the suggestion before it to lay groundwork. Vel decided to stop there, while he still had some energy left. Who knew what he might need it for.
