End the war

War with the Sun Goddess isn't a great strategy so Marus decided to delay his fun with Mira. At least that's what he said to himself. Furthermore, he decided that there are no need to keep Mira in tower made for seduction and ordered his servants to move her to one of the training rooms used by gladiators. That time paladin got training weapons and armors and could enjoy working out as much as she desired healing her fell mood. Of cause Marus didn't admit that motivation, his conscious goal was to prepare the paladin for the future arena fights

Leaving Mira training Marus left the castle to visit the capital city of Arlain and negotiate a peace offer. As he had some problems with orcs and got tired of that war his conditions were mild, he requested princess Tara, several of her servants, a dozen of other beautiful women and all diamonds and rubies from the treasure in exchange for a 50-year peace treaty. That was accepted without much further negotiations and caravan with the tribute was sent day later

Then Marus enjoyed a weak long crushing of orcs, but as days passed he missed Mira more and more, so finally he left the campaign in general's hands and returned to his castle day before the caravan arrived.
