"What have you done to me!"

A logical reaction. You expected this.

"I have combined you with the essence of an animal." You casually explain to her.

"What ... why would you do that?"

You paced around the table, explaining your goals to her.

"The world has very few creatures in it, my dear. Every day, many species go extinct, but none are added to it. This is my way or repairing that error. With you, I have given nature a new species. One that is based on the human, the most successful species to date, and I have improved on it."

Your victim was annoyed.

She narrowed her eyes and calmly said "You ... improved me?"

"Yes! With this new body you have enhances speed, greater stamina, improved hearing. You are better then you have ever been before."

You had thought she would rejoice, but instead she swung her tail and slapped it into your face.

"What did you do that for?" You asked.

"No reason."

You didn't inquire any further. At least you were happy she didn't sting you instead.

"So ... am I going to remain strapped to this table then?"

"No, you can walk around if you like. As long as you don't leave this room, you should be safe."

With a wave of your hands, the straps unfastened themselves. The girl slowly pulled herself up to a sitting position, and then just stared at you.

"You're probably dying to study your creation, aren't you." She said. "Go ahead. Study me."

"My my ..." You responded. "Quick to business, are you."

"I just figured the sooner you're done with it, the sooner you'll stop bothering me."

Like she offered, you begun your examination. It all looked very promising, but at some point she managed to take a hold of your arm. Ordinarily this would not have meant much, but she squeezed her hand so tight, it felt like you were caught in a pincer.

When you asked her to let go of you, she momentarily squeezed even harder. She might not have the claws of a scorpion, but her hands sure were strong enough to serve as them.

But you were happy, your experiment was a huge success. However now, you had a scorpion-girl to deal with.
