The sleigh.

Vanessa let out a surprised yelp and had to hold to the sleigh or she would have fallen, the reindeer were a bit uneasy about their new driver and looked at her a little bit confused, the elf had appeared besides her a few moments later.

"this is the sleigh, let's put the sack in" he said.

Vanessa had already recovered and looked around, she couldn't believe it, not only Christmas was real but so was the sleigh, the reindeers, even rufold the red nosed one too.

Vanessa wanted to take off and start to fly around the city delivering presents, but there was a problem, she didn't knew how to pilot a sleigh.

Vanessa was trying to figure out how to operate the thing, the elf looked at her with expectancy, although he had been with santa all that time, he had been too busy to notice how to drive the sleigh, he only saw Santa moving the reins and taking them to where it was needed to, the elf also never thought it would ever had no use for him learn how to operate the sleigh, since he was unable to do it, Vanessa took the reins and tried to give them a pull, the reindeer flew forwards.

"Waaaahhhh" she shouted holding tightly to the sleigh, the sleigh was a lot faster than what she expected, luckily she had enough sense and reflexes to not crash.

The elf was hanging tight in the sleigh, he was scared, not of the flying but of the new santa, she was too unstable and clumsy, Vanessa was moving the reins frantically trying to control the flight, but instead of that she was making it worse and worse, they sleigh started to do spins I the air and the elf was starting to fear they were going to crash.

"STOP! STOP DOING THAT!" he shouted.

"I can't, I don't know how to control this thing! " she replied scared too, the sleigh was gaining speed and the reindeers were scared and confused.

"STOP! You're gonna kill us both, look out!" Said the elf and pointed at the tree that was getting dangerously closer.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! " the two of them shouted while Vanessa maneuvered the sleigh avoiding the tree and then a house, but they were not out of danger, the sleigh was still out of control and the reindeer were not responding, they were now flying very low on the street.

"oh, shit, we're gonna crash! " Shouted the elf looking they were going at top speed in the direction of a parked van

"What do we do?! " shouted Vanessa.

"I DON'T KNOW, JUST DO SOMETHING!" shouting the elf that at that point considered his life ended.

But in the last second Vanessa managed to manouver and made the sleigh turn up at an almost 90° angle, the sleigh passed right above the van.

"We made it" said the elf in relief and Vanessa started to laugh like crazy.

"I can't believe we survived, it was a miracle" she said, but the elf knew the truth, it wasn't a miracle, Vanessa had done a really good job, even thought her moves were very amateurish, they were fast and accurate, and not a single present had fallen.
