Taihon had no reason to deny himself such a wonderful sight. Seeing this constant reminder that he'd been serviced by Mira was a great way to lift the spirits of the rogue who'd spent the last few weeks in constant battles or survival situations.

"My mother never had much love for a child that was the result of her violation," Taihon's voice became lower and more silent, his eyes darkening. "She was taken by one of your kind, traveling knights who decided to have some fun with a random peasant."

Mira fell silent. The way he said those words left no room for doubting him. "By hurting others, you won't undo the past. Don't you understand?"
