Where will you go?
Head up the staircase to your left.
The stairs climb endlessly. They twist around corners, a corridor wide enough for a person to lay down in. Eventually it comes to a hall that juts out to the left and right. A narrow window across from you overlooks the front of the castle, a defensive fortification. At the ends of each direction lay two doorways, each blocked by a heavy wooden door. From the left direction, a pleasant aroma permeates through a barred gap in the door. It is reminiscent of flowers, perhaps roses, and a mixture of various herbs.
To the right lies a solid, locked door.
The scented door to the left is surprisingly unlocked.
