You make an escape.

With another dive you avoid your horrible attacker once again, his claws nipping at your back. Nimbly your new body does a quick roll then coming up to your feet once again. He howls in anger as you reach the door. “What is this. Who is casting...” The rest goes unheard as you yank the door open, surprised that it isn't locked. Without pause you jump through the doorway and yank it closed behind you. Panting you stand there in the dark trying to catch your breath, holding the horizontal bar that is the handle for the door with all your might against the pull that is sure to come as the beast follows you inside. But after several moments the yank never comes, and still in a little shock you let go of the door and turn around.

As you turn your eyes adjust to the darkness a little, not enough to see clearly, apparently they must amplify existing light not allow you to see in pitch blackness. But as the tiny bit of light brightens and your new world begins to come into focus you find yourself somewhere other than you were a moment ago. You stand in the middle of an abandoned subway platform, the little specks of light coming from a few holes where the roof above is starting to collapse. Carefully you make your way through the rubble and garbage till you find a staircase up. Walking up all you find is a metal reinforced gate locking you in. Back down you make your way around till you find a second stair, sadly this one is also barricaded. Clicking around in your heels you realize the only real option here is to head down the old abandoned tracks. With no other choice you head down the dark eerie tunnel.

You travel for quite a while, mostly in darkness, tripping several times, before you spot light. As you head to the light you finally find an exit, the tracks themselves lead out of an old tunnel and into daylight. Looking around you see only old trees and old growth everywhere. Suddenly a voice calls out and you can't help but jump, “How did you get here?”

Looking around you see nothing, you have no idea if you should tell any kind of truth so you say, “I got lost.”

“I see that. I haven't seen one of the fairy folk in this realm in quite some time. How is it that you came into this world? Why are you bound with demon magic?”

So they know something of what is going on, you think to yourself, but still you have no idea if they are friendly or not. Then again they haven't attacked either.
